She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" R. Griffin; her daughter Jill Drury; and her siblings, Carolyn McCory, Winnie Hill, Sharon Ludwig, William Ira, Harold Ira and Mary Ann Mann.

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Sweeney (LeAnn) and Bradley Sweeney; her grandchildren, Afton Axiom, Brittany Guthrie (David) and Levi Sweeney; and her great grandchild Harlan Guthrie.

Memorial Donations in Kathy's name may be made to the American Legion Post 24 Boys State or Girls State, or the Ladies Auxiliary.
