The memory of Lisa Jan Owen of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Stanley Owen. She is survived by: her mother Janet Sewell Owen of Columbus; her close friend Scott Decker of Seymour; her sons, Justin Weddle (Mallory) of North Hollywood, CA., Jay Weddle (Alex) of Zionsville, Chad Decker (Lis) of Columbus, David Decker (Jessica) of Seymour, MacKenzie Adams (Trey), Kelsey and Laney Pearson; her grandchildren, Mary Grace, Ellie, Brady, JJ Weddle, Ryder Weddle, Regan, Weston Decker, Jovie Decker, Cecilia and Emilia Adams; and her sisters, Laura Brown (Mike) and Lana Owen (Steve Scgalski) of Columbus. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
