It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille M. Townsend of Columbus, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lowry and Helen Benefiel Lowry; her husband Forrest R. Townsend; her brothers, Harold Lowry, Richard Tuttle and Paul "Bud" Lowry; and her son-in-law Michael S. Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Townsend of North Vernon and Cheryl Lee of Columbus; and her brother Mike Tuttle of Columbus. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
