He was predeceased by: his grandfather Thomas Sterner. He is survived by: his parents, Kelley Poindexter and Kristina Sterner Poindexter of Columbus; his sister Hannah Poindexter of Columbus; his grandparents, Ronald, Beverly Poindexter of Columbus, Robert and Mary Ann Berlier of Greenwood; his close friend Alexia Estep; his aunts and uncles, Mark, Lisa Sterner, Kevin and Kristy Ferguson; and his cousins, Kobe, Kaleb Sterner, Justin (Emily), Josh (Joy), Jordan (Chrystal), Logan (Kalynne) and Paige Ferguson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the education fund being set up for his son through the funeral home.
