It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madjena Inez Stepper of Columbus, Indiana, born in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther V. Jones and Lera M. Smith Jones; her husband Fred C. Stepper; her daughter Joni L. Stepper; and her siblings, Sam Jones and Mildred Leathers.
She is survived by: her sons, Fredrick G. Stepper of North Vernon and Mark R. Stepper (Patricia) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Fredrick Stepper, Melissa Lucic, John Stepper, Lindsay Grimes, Sarah Caranahan, Amber Stepper and Marcus Stepper; and her siblings, Sheila Daugherty (James) of North Vernon and Anthony Jones (Caryl) of North Vernon.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Grace Lutheran Church.
