He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Fugate and Coursie Combs Fugate; his wife Diana G. Perdue Loesch; and his siblings, Wes, Quinton Ray, Raymond, James, Bill, Don, Roger Fugate, Betty Brown and Gladys Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Bethany Brown of Westport, Indiana; his stepchildren, Tony Lucas of Seymour and Angie Lucas of Columbus; his stepgrandchildren, Mark Truitt of Columbus, Laquita Truitt of Franklin, Drake Lucas of Seymour, Bobby Truitt of Columbus and Brody Lucas of Columbus; and his siblings, Mike Fugate of Grapevine, Kentucky, Joyce Spencer of Hazard and Florence Wooten of Wooten, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
