He was predeceased by: his siblings, Debra D. Davis and Larry G. Davis. He is survived by: his parent Betty Joan Griffin Davis; his wife Lynnetta "Nita" Davis; his sons, Dylan Lee of Columbus and Devan Matthew Davis of Columbus; his father Edward Davis of Columbus; and his brother Anthony "Tony" Davis (Shelia) of Columbus.
