It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max F. Mullis (Columbus, Indiana), born in Hope, Indiana, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Mullis and Ruth Ferguson Mullis; and his siblings, Rovena Hartwell, Charlotte Stroup, Patricia Mullis, William Carroll Mullis, Raymond Charles Mullis, Donald Eugene Mullis and James Richard Mullis (Bobbi Lee Mullis).
He is survived by: his daughter Renita Kay Mullis (Wayne Rice) of Buckhorn, Kentucky; his granddaughters, Brittany Proctor (Josh) of Florida and Shatawna Foster (Derrick) of Taylorsville; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Westley Proctor and Austin Foster. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
