He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil Gustafson and Edith Gustafson; his wife Leona Gierke; his children, Naomi, Annette, Jeffrey, Joel and Mark; his grandchildren, Alisha, Lucas, Jessica, Jacob, Craig, Zachary and Natalie; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Grace, Savannah, Payton, Will, Kimberlyn, Braiden and Autumn.

Memorial Donations in his name may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Foundation.
