He was predeceased by: his parents, Rice W. Johnson and Edna Scelf Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Joe Johnson (Cindy) of North Vernon and Chris Johnson (Shelly) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Whitney Plumm, Brittany Sutton, Brianna Wilson and Hannah Johnson; his sisters, Evelyn Nichalson of Whiteland and Wanda Royer (Dan) of California; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Johnson of Seymour and Ronald Blaker of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
