He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Mitchell and Gladys Sanders Mitchell; his son Brian Franklin Mitchell; and his brother Eugene Allen Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, David Lee Mitchell of Columbus and Holly Olmstead of Grand Rapids; his siblings, Gary C. Mitchell (Carlotta) of Louisville and Juanita F. Swengel (Charles) of Azalia; and his grandchild Mason Olmstead.
