She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mathews and Vivian Mathews; her husband Don Duane Hughes; and her children, Michael, Mary Ellen and Helen Ruth Hughes.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hughes of Columbus, Jon Hughes of Texas, Georgette Parks of Columbus and Carolyn Sue Melton of Columbus; and her grandchildren, Dylan Hughes, Taylor Hughes, Samantha Lykins, Alexandra Bradford, Zack Townsend and Kayla Smith. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
