She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Arnett and Shirley Williams Arnett; her husband Lawrence Proffitt; her brothers, Frank and Marvin Arnett; and her grandson Joey Tyler Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Hill (James) of Columbus; her granddaughter Jonnelle Lazzell (Tyler) of Franklin; her great grandchildren, Faith Sueann Dru Lazzell of Franklin and Noah James Lawrence Lazzell of Franklin; and her sisters, Evelyn Bass (Bill) of Canton, IL and Janice Hyden (Clayton) of Columbus.
