He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius J. Metz and Ruth M. Summa Metz; and his brother John David Metz. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kay Groves; and his children, Jeffrey Metz (Latrisha) of Columbus, Rebecca Douglas (Tim) of Taylorsville, Michael Metz (Terri) of Columbus, Timothy Metz (Julie) of Taylorsville and Jennifer Anderson (Jeff) of Georgetown, IN. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Christian Motorcycle Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
