He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn; and his son Hank Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Brian Cowan, Angela Stillabower (Lee) and Shannon Shepherd (David); and his siblings, Mary Hatchett, Nella Cowan, Kathy Stillabower (Ron), Linda Hines (Mike) and Jimmy Cowan (Sally). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
