He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Gentry and Ruth Pierson Gentry; his daughter Jeannette Gentry; and his siblings, Catherine L. Clifford, Marjorie H. Bell, Miriam Byers (Ede), Garland R. Gentry, Cecil L. Gentry, William L. Gentry and John L. Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Gentry of Columbus; his sons, Norman Gentry (Tom Johnson), Jerome Gentry (Christine), Robert S. Gentry (Kristen) and James L. Gentry (Ashley); and his sister Dorothy Stremming of Vincennes. He is also survived by co-workers.
Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Mr. Gentry to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
