It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Smith (Columbus, Indiana), born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Judith Smith; his wife Sandy Smith; his son Robert Smith Jr.; and his sisters, Janet Siess, Sandra Smith and LeeAnn Smith.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandra P. Smith April; his children, Kimberly Pate (Russell) of Louisville, Shannon Stutzman (Lance) of Columbus, Michelle Sipes of Greenwood, Ryan Smith (Kristi) of Indianapolis, Scott Smith of Kokomo and Joel Smith of Kokomo; and his sister-in-law Marsha Gears. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robert J. Smith to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
