It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta C. Stier of Columbus, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William P. Cleary and Bernice A. Cleary (Quellhorst); her husband William H. Stier; her son Donald J. Stier; and her sisters, Marcella Stier, Marilyn Rose Wilson and Kathleen Rike Huffman.
She is survived by: her sons, William M. Stier of Seattle and James E. Stier (Susan) of Columbus; her sisters, Margaret Anne Glick of South Carolina, Barbara Jean Schmutte (John) of King's County, Virginia of Indianapolis, Christine Susan Genowa of Indianapolis and Victoria Joan Cleary of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Kathleen A. Whipker (Tim), Colleen Saylor, Michael Douglas (Christal), Amy Nietes (Michael), Emily Stier, William Knotts, Erica Stier and Alison Stier; and her great grandchildren, Max Whipker, Ciara Saylor, Ellen Whipker, Marcella Whipker, Isla Ray Douglas and Lola Douglas.
Due to the mandate limiting gatherings, visitors are required to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmaus Monastery Vestaburg, Michigan through the funeral home.
