He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin R. Shelton and Grace M. Spencer Shelton; his grandson Quincy Ray Shelton; and his stepdaughter Amber Dawn Kirby. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his children, David Shelton (Sunanda) of Columbus and Brian Shelton (Christina) of Columbus; his stepchildren, Melissa Knops (Dave) of Edinburgh and Joshua Kirby of Hope; and his brother Joe Shelton (Rebecca) of Columbus. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
