He is survived by: his pets, Sugar, Lucy and Chlover; his former wife Nelda Burnett of Columbus; his sons, Randy Burnett (Jennifer Mead) of Columbus and Jamey Burnett of Columbus; his grandchildren, Chloe of Columbus, Lilly Michael of Columbus, Josie Palmer Bryant of Columbus and Tara Sluder of Columbus; his siblings, Jim Burnett of Indianapolis, Rick Chapman (Connie) of North Vernon and Sharon Maxin of Billings, Montana; and his sisters-in-law, Rhonda Wilber of Columbus and Glenna Ballard of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
