It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman G. Franz (Columbus, Indiana), born in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Peter E Franz and Martha Martens Franz; and his brothers, Loren and John. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Darrah Franz; his sons, Sherman Edward (Maggie Magee) of Montrose, Colorado, Stephen James (Lisa Szymanski) of Spencer, Indiana and Michael Andrew (Carolyn) of Bend, Oregon; his grandchildren, Jonathon, David, Megan, Lauren, Elliott and Madison; and his great grandchildren, Davian and Myla. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, First Presbyterian Church Foundation, or VIMCare at Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation.
