She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Burgin and Faustine L. Farris Burgin; and her siblings, Johnny Hyatt, Clarence Burgin, Jr., Patricia Hale and Linda Hamm.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel "Sam"; her children, Troy Smith of Columbus, Pam Smith (John Branham) of Morgantown and Jill East (Devin) of Columbus; her grandson Wyatt Branham of Morgantown; and her sister Donna Brock (Bill) of Lanesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
