He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn McCord and Esther Thomas McCord; and his wife Betty R. Brewer. He is survived by: his daughter Terri Fields of Ocala, Florida; his stepdaughter Marilyn Myers (Jessie) of Nashville; his stepgranddaughter Kristi Goodnight of Columbus; and his sisters, Glenda Beasley of Columbus and Lodema Barrett (Steve) of Seymour. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
