She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen D Shepherd and Charles "Ed" Shepherd; her husband Marion William "Bill" Herron; her siblings, Charles Shepherd and Mary Elizabeth Shepherd; and her son-in-law John Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Carson of Columbus, Indiana and Brad Herron (Annie) of Lebanon, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Courtney Short (Lance) of Franklin, Casey Herron Hockenbury (Jake) of Avon, Corey Herron of Lebanon, Indiana, Rustin Edwards of Lebanon, Indiana and Robbie Edwards of Lebanon, Indiana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
