He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Green and Lillian Alvenia Green; and his brothers, Michael Green and Terry Green. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Green (Goetz); his children, Darren Green of Columbus and Gina Orrison (Green) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Sydni Bruner (Quentin), Alyssa Green of Columbus, Lucas Orrison (Haylee), Nicholas Green of Cheshire, CT and Zachary Green of Columbus; his daughter-in-law Carrie Green of Columbus; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Matthew, Magnolia, Mackenzie and Sawyer.

Memorials may be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church or C.A.R.E.
