He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ray and Lula Mae Bryant Streeval; his siblings, David, Jerry Streeval, Betty Dunn and Nancy Coatsworth; and his nephew Tony Coatsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Malan; his children, Heidi Summitt (Perry) of Bloomington, Vance Malan (Adrienne) of Brown County and Kelly Backer of Mason, Ohio; his grandchildren, John Miller (Abby), Tyler Miller, Meredith Miller, George Miller, Chase Malan (Susan), Bryce Malan, Katherine Backer and Jack Backer; his great grandchildren, Marshall Miller, Wesley Miller, Ruthie Miller and Cooper Malan; and his brother Mike Streeval of Columbus. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
