Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Violet Louise Greenlee of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 99, on January 29, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert Christian and Myrtle Coy Christian; her former husband James Dale Richards; her husband Paul "Pete" Greenlee; her daughter Joy Jacobs; her stepdaughter Becky Pearson; her grandson Cory Wiggins; and her siblings, Mervin Christian, Robert Christian, Rev. Silas Christian, Florine Ravenscraft and Sue Markley.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Richards (Judy) of Columbus, Vicki Hancher (Bob) of Jacksonville, Jim Richards (Pat) of Columbus and Randy Greenlee (Gail) of Wakarusa, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Desiree Watson, Kari Wells, Marcus Hancher, Darin Richards, Lindsy Warren, Ryan, Brandon Richards, Kelli Anderson, Bradley, Jeremy, Joshua Greenlee and Ty Goodwin. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are having a private family service with no visitation. Large gatherings of people can lead to spreading of COVID-19.
