We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Virginia M. Hammond of Columbus, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis H. Wahoff and Helen M. Wahoff (Bittner); her husband John L. Hammond; her sister Phyllis Von Holle; her children-in-law, Angie Hammond and Gene Castaneda; and her great grandchild Daniel McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, William L. Hammond (Eileen) of Greenwood, Richard Hammond (Jane) of Edinburgh, Judith A. Castaneda of Columbus, Mary H. Larrison (Jerry) of Taylorsville, Louis J. Hammond of Columbus and Donald P. Hammond (Andrea) of Springfield, Ohio. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the church and masks are required.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Bartholomew Catholic Church 1706 27th Street, Columbus, IN 47201.
