She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Erwin and Evelyn Bushong Erwin; and her brother Jerry Erwin. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Bates of Columbus; her daughter Tammy Erwin Harris (Warren) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Logan Erwin and Kylie Harris; and her siblings, Faye Howard, Debra Scott, Brenda Edwards and Greg Erwin.
