She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Benjamin and Mary Jarrett Benjamin; her husband Virgil Darrell Brock; her sister Marilyn Turner; her sons-in-law, Tim Cline and Rick Waymire; her siblings-in-law, Eldon Brock, Steve Brock, Ronnie Brock, Bill Turner (Marlene Brock) and Ozella Hensley; and her pet Brandy.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Adele Brock), Darrell "Hank" (Heather Brock), Becky Lynn Bishop, Julie Kay Cline and Robin Sue Napier; her grandchildren, Jessie, Matt Baker, April Philbeck of Kiane Shook, J. C., Stephanie Ellison, Joshua Blevins, Rusty Brock, Samantha Ellison, Sabrina, Zack Freeman, Rachel, Sam Hille, Kayla Brock, Kelsee Brock, Kamryn Brock and Kadence Brock; her brothers, Donald (Rita Benjamin) and Jerry (Pam Benjamin); and her pets, Peanut and Gracie. She is also survived by Twenty great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home (1475 IN-44, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Salem Friends Cemetery (1807 S Salem Rd, Liberty, IN 47353).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association in Carol's honor.
