With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sondra Jean Ingall of Connersville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sondra Jean left this world on July 5, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Midge Mercer and Alpha Mercer (Smith); her husband Walter E. Ingall; her siblings, Calvin Mercer and Jane Wittman; her son Kevin Ingall; her grandson Brian Miller; and her great grandchildren, Landen Miller and Lily Ann Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Miller (Roger) of Connersville and Jennifer Jones (Wesley Stuart) of Palatine, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Judy Ingall of Carmel, Indiana; her grandchildren, Teri Whitaker (Michael), Stephanie Eckerle, Brenton Miller, Sutherland Halladay (Andrew), Alexandra Ingall, Sarah Hogenboom-Jones (Nolan), Wesley Jones and Matthew Jones; and her great grandchildren, Harrison, Ava, Graham, Simon, Livian Miller, Carter, Addelynn Miller, Aiden and Alyssa Eckerle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Urban Winkler Funeral Home (513 W 8th St, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Dale Cemetery (801 N Gregg Rd, Connersville, IN 47331).
Memorials in memory of Sondra can be made to the Ingall Family Scholarship Fund which was created in memory of Brian L. Miller, Sondra's grandson, and supports local students pursuing higher education.
