He was predeceased by : his parents, George Frye and Beatrice Harris Frye; his daughter Tammy Stockdale; and his siblings, Oliver Frye, Florence Gerhart, Betty Fluk and Anna Witner.

He is survived by : his wife Alice M. Barks Yeager-Frye; his daughters, Michelle Carr (Chris), Kimberley Lynn Sohn (David), Peggy Sue Ullom (Cameron) and Kimberly Michelle Barton (Junior); his stepsons, Randy Yeager (Angie), Donnie Yeager (Denise) and David Yeager; his siblings, George Frye, Richard Frye (Tina), Georgine Davidheiser and Delores Kletzing; and his siblings-in-law, Al Witner, Paul Barks (Cindy), Fern Lawrence (Bud) and Rose Barks. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
