We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2025, at the age of 80, Helen Kay Finn of Corydon, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Helen Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Helen Kay's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Dennis Askren and Helen Askren. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis, Andrew and Jonathan. She is also survived by her three sons, Kay is survived by numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Swarens Funeral Home (1405 IN-64, Ramsey, IN 47166). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests tributes to Kay be expressed as donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
