She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Watson and Donnie L. Stoner Watson; her husband Robert Lee Yates, Sr.; her siblings, Samuel Watson, Ramona Jean and Naomi Jane Watson; and her great grandchild Hope Serenity Yates.

She is survived by : her sons, Robert L. Yates, Jr. (Sherry) of Corydon, Eric M. Yates (Tassy) of Beverly and Chris Watson of Corydon; her brother Carl Edward Watson (Naomi) of Corydon; her grandchildren, Julie Conrad (Paul), Melissa Agan (John), Susan Becht (Colt), Sarah Watt (Brian), Laura Yates, Jacob Yates and Ora Yates; her great grandchildren, Braden Conrad, Bailey Conrad, Cash Becht, Reese Becht, Carly Becht, Aubrey Watt, Lucas Watt, Eliza Agan, John Agan and Henry Agan; and her stepgrandchildren, Kirk Kern, Alyssa Kern and Alayna Kern.
