He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph W. Payne and Ruth Estella Payne (Del Valley); and his grandson Ryan Scheer. He is survived by : his wife Doris Ann Payne of Covington, IN; his children, Donnie Payne (Kim) of Mulberry, IN, Pamela Scheer (Ken) of Greer, SC and Julie Swearingen (Robin) of Veedersburg, IN; and his brother Dann. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
