Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Allen of Covington, Indiana, born in Marshall, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 85, on January 22, 2021. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gust O. Thompson and Lulu Aletha Thompson (Weaver); her husband Samuel Riley Allen; and her brothers, Jim Thompson, Eugene Thompson and Harlan Thompson.
She is survived by : her children, Warren Allen (Beth) of Brownsburg, Pam Lewis (Doug) of Kingman and Norman Allen (Theresa) of Attica; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lehman (David), Jason Lewis (Jacqui), Nicole Martin (Neil), David Allen (Casie), Daniel Allen (Jessie), Joseph Allen (Sarah), Cecelia Allen, Jessica Eldridge (Clayton), Jon Allen (Jennifer) and Rachel Ginn (Darius); and her sister Betty Bowling. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Social distancing is expected and masks required.
