He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Berge and Beda Berge; his wife Barbara (Sprague); his children, Ellen Glover-Howie of Oakwood, Timothy Watson (Yvonne) of Houma Louisiana and Gary Watson (Marla) of Danville; his grandchildren, Samuel, Karolina Howie of Oakwood, Philip Watson (Anne) of Metairie, Aaron Watson of Tomball and Ryan Watson of Terra Haute, Indiana.; and his great grandchildren, Aubren, Otis, Julia and George Watson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, two sisters- in- law and one brother-in-law.
The family asks that donations to the made to the Covington Circle of Friendship Senior Center or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in place of flowers.
