He was predeceased by : his siblings, Ellen Nelson and Ronald Oehmke. He is survived by : his children, Judy Howell, Teresa Willoughby, Karl Ramsey and Donna Ramsey; his grandchildren, Mandy Mezo (Mark), Doug Howell (Amanda), Stephanie Eller (Troy), Briana Ramsey, Gage Randles and Christian Randles; his great grandchildren, Austin Urso, Jenna Urso, Ian Urso, Isaiah Mezo, Josiah Mezo, Eli Howell, Lincoln Howell, Kelsey Ward and Jacob Ward; and his great great grandchildren, Stella Ward, Gracie Ward and Kooper Ward.

Memorial donations may be given in his name to Vermillion County Animal Shelter.
