With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lola Hockersmith Shermer of Crawfordsville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Terry Hockersmith (Carol). She is survived by: her brother Loyal "Buzzy" Delano; and her daughter Debbie Watson (J. D.). She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fremont Street Baptist Church (1908 Fremont St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
