Connie Franks-Toops Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 59, Connie Franks-Toops of Crothersville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Harold Franks and Rhonda Sue Franks (Griffin); her husband Maynard Toops; and her grandparents, Delmar and Alice Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Ryan Franks (Cassie) of Gerlew, Zach Toops of Monmouth, Illinois and Katie Smith (Justin) of Crothersville; her stepson Matthew Thompson of Farmington, Illinois; her sister Angie Owens of Bedford; her grandchildren, Brenna, Henry Smith of Crothersville and Austin Thompson of Peoria, Illinois; her sibling's children, Kaylee Lesnet (Justin) of Commiskey, Christopher Marksberry (Kelsey) of Bedford and Braydon Owens (Maria) of Madison; her great-nieces, Peyton, Blakely Lesnet of Commiskey and Braylee Marksberry of Bedford; and her great-nephew Harley Marksberry of Bedford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to help with expenses.
