We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2020, at the age of 90, Jewel M. Bordner (Crown Point, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Duane K. Bordner; her grandson Kevin David; her sister Carol Murray; and her parents, Walter Krahl and Myrtle Krahl.

She is survived by : her daughters, Julie Lee (Rick), Joy VanDerAa and Jeanette Pierson (James); her grandchildren, Joshua, Angela, Brittney Bouwman (David), Kyle VanDerAa (Rosaleen), Alex VanDerAa (Jessica), Brooke VanDerAa and Avery Pierson; her great grandchild Halen Jett Bouwman; and her siblings, Eris Bundren-Knakmuhs, Colleen Smith and Tom Krahl.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area, in honor of Jewel.
