He is survived by: his wife Glenda; his children, Brianna and Jade; his pet Pocket Dave; his brothers, Jeff (Toddi Lamott), Greg (Julie) and Tim (Lisa); and his parents, Lyle Buckner and Mary Buckner.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Michael's name to American Cancer Society.
