It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl D. Kaetzel of Dale, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Kaetzel and Charlotte Kaetzel (Kokomoor); his wife Roberta Grace Claycamp; and his siblings, Fredrick, Glenn, Jesse Kaetzel, Ruth Hicks, Lois Kelly and Inez.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Kaetzel of Florida and Jill Kaetzel of Rockport; his adoptive children, Velda of Dale and Bob Varner of Dale; his sister Esther Fortner of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, Michele Killebrew of Chicago, Jason Killebrew (Shaunna) of Lamar, Amy Kaetzel of Holland, Ben Kaetzel (Jenny) of New Harmony and Hillary Harvey of Rockport; and his great grandchildren, Jessica Tompkins, Adam Tompkins, Caleb Lechner, Reilly Lechner, Kamden Kellems, Addison Killebrew and Nolan Killebrew.
The family request that all Covid-19 safety precautions be practiced at the church.
