He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Hufnagel and Ida Hufnagel (Stallman); his wife Faye Elizabeth Hufnagel (Reinhart); his grandchild Sasha René McLaughlin; his children, Terry Hufnagel (Missie) of Newburgh, Debra Hufnagel of Huntsville, Ala and Rebecca McLaughlin of Dale, Ind.; his siblings, Malee Burress (Ralph) of Dale, Jerry Hufnagel of Aiken, Janice Rainwaters (Richard) of Aiken, Rick Hufnagel of Santa Claus and Dan Hufnagel (Carolyn) of Rio, Ind.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Forbey (Nathan), Ashley Hufnagel, Tonya Borders (Earl), Tony Westenhofer (Lindsey), Craig Westenhofer (Christy) and Brittany Williams (Casey). He was also cherished by fourteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for installation of a memorial bench at Dale Park.
