He is survived by: his brother Oren Johnson; his wife Phyllis Imel; his children, Edward Jr., Mathew, Kevin (Angie), Amy (Dustin), Joyce (Dustin) and Angel (Mike); his grandchildren, Katelynn (Dylan), Logan, Brandon (Makayla), Tyler, Jarrod, Zach, Austin, Hannah (Gabe), Grace (Tanner) and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Ian, Eli, Maverick, Alexander, Violet, Alexis, Hoggarth and Eleanor; his sibling Ellie (Don); his close friends, Jeff Risden, Dana Welker, Jerry and Marilyn Shelton; and his pet Einstein.
