With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Marie (Johnson) Fortune (Dana, Indiana), born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Myrtle Johnson and Andy Johnson of Montezuma; and her brother Duane. She is survived by : her husband James; her daughters, Brenda Fortune Peck of Clinton and Candy Kerestes of Veedersburg; and her grandchildren, Cole Kerestes of Nashville, TN and Lauren Kerestes of Veedersburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Parke-Vermillion Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
