He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sanford Summers and Edith Summers; his wife Elaine Summers; his children, Phil Summers, Joan Summers Sanford Summers (Dale Jr.) and Julie Wamsley (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kyle Summers, Michelle Boone, Matt Summers, Ryan Swan, Chelsea Swan, Victoria Fields and Samantha Summers; and his son Dale Summers, Jr.. He was also cherished by 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
