He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gus and Lorena Mae Smith (Moore); and his wife Virginia "Ginny" Trent. He is survived by: his children, Tami Wilson of Danville, Penni Tincher of Danville and Perri Smith (Louise) of Danville. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
