He was predeceased by: his father Lowell Samuel; his daughter-in-law Jaime Gibson; and his brother Jerry Lee Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Joe Gibson of Danville, Vickie Coudret (Robert) of Indianapolis, Ann Fox (Todd) of Clayton and Rachel Alexander (Paul) of Ladoga; and his sisters, Frances Hughes Boone of Belleville and Wanda Huffman (Richard) of Plainfield. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
