She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Arthur and Marie Franklin (Crawford); her former husband Sylvan Richard; and her siblings, Raymond Franklin, Kay Snodgrass and Margaret Hanson.

She is survived by: her husband John Robinson; and her children, Terry Richard (Avon), Sam W. "Bill" Richard (Danville), Kathy Robinson (Bobby) and Michelle Tidwell (Tony). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
